A story anyone?

Integrating the three disciplinary areas of Creativity and Culture, Social Systems, as well as Natural Systems for the Four Mile Creek semester long project is inherently difficult, but not impossible. My idea is to find out the stories of the river. Similar to the way Mark Twain wrote about his life on the Mississippi River, did someone write a story, fictional or non-fictional, about what life is like or would be like on Four Mile Creek. If someone did not write, then why not write a story of our own. This would incorporate Creativity and Culture because of the writing aspect, reading analysis, and interpretation of found/composed stories; social systems because in order to develop a story one would need to understand the lives of people on the ri ver, and the way that the social aspects of day to day life ensure the longevity of the society; and natural systems because one would have to study the river, and undestand how the river affects the lives of the people and animals around it.
