You cover all the bases in your proposal. I am not sure you will be able to answer every question you raise simply because of a lack of historical record. But there resources you can look at like country court records and deed claims that can be a wealth of information. I like your personal interviews but you will have to develop a protocol and have it approved by the university's committee on human subjects. That's federal law. Nathan is also proposing to do interviews. We may want to team you up with him and several others in the class looking at the history of 4 mile creek.
