Don't Drink the Water

Your idea has lots of separate questions. The first ones are about the water itself-- the "mineral" aspects of the river. Then you ask about what has been added to this water. Naturally water carries silt, but that is going to vary depending on how much agricultural land and how much forest is on the banks. Is that silt "pollution"? Would you say yes if it came from agriculture, but no if it came from the forest or the river banks ?

There may be archival sources for studies of 4mc in the past. One might look at publications from the Ecology Research Center or even from Science Center Archives.
