Draft 1... image gathering

I would like to include some form of interviewin gor narrative using the poeple who live around the creek now, but I would also like to connect my interest in the arts. So, one way I thought to do that, though I'm having trouble connecting this to science, is to gather images and the the way people feel about images of nature and how living near a creek like this can impact those images. Do images change as there is more human impact on the environment or do they stay the same as a dream of how it can be, should be or used to be. Can we find any images made of the creek of images made by people who the creek imapcted (I'm thinking about journals and sketches from the Western and university archives as well as other historical sources in this area and the Miami tribe). Specifially thinking of the native americans, did their image making and meaning radically change when they moved from the Miami valley to Oklahoma? I guess it boils down to...How does a real life image of nature impact how a person views cultures images of nature and how they make images of nature.

I would like the presentation to not be completely in the traditional paper form. I wouldliek to try to use what we learn gathering images to create a composite set of images of the Four Mile Creek area... either maybe as a picture book or a larger piece of art (which usually includes a written explanation of sources and inspriation).
