Draft 1 Four Mile Creek Dam impacts...

I think I want to concentrate on the dam on 4 Mile Creek. I want to take a look at it's historical importance and when it was built what factors went into it's conception. I also want to find out how it has affected the community, and what it does for the community. The creek is a big part the landscape and when humans go and change it, it affects all aspects of life that surrounds it. What do the people think of the dam and how it changes things, and what might life be like if it werent' there? How is the chemistry of the Creek changed upstream vs. downstream from the dam, and what does this mean for the natural enviroment above and below the dam on the creek. How does the dam affect the artistic view of the creek. The dam is an obvious mark of human dominance, and control. How might the scenery look if it weren't there? The dam shows the human control over the natural creek, and what does this say about us as a culture? I think that this is just a jumping off point for the project, so if you have any suggestions whatsoever, I could really use them. Thanks again everyone.
