The Film one:
I would like to compile a documentary about Four Mile Creek concerning the arts and grassroot activism surronding it. Through film, I can capture the scenic beauty and devastation. After some searching, I can find some activist groups which seek to perserve this creek (which is an important tributary to the Great Miami River, a major water source) whether for antropocentric or biocentric purposes. Hopefully, some of these groups have used art in order to raise awareness, funds for protection and means to improve the creek chemically and biologically. The aspects of the film will include film od the creek, the organizations, interviews and science-influenced research.

Botany:
Along the banks of the creek, there are a ton of different kinds of plants and animals which depend on the health of the creek. The project would involve plant classifications, food chains, ecosystems, chemical testings and so on. THis information can be processed into understanding the damages done to the botony off the creek from outside sources such as urban sprawling, dams, development and toxins. The goal of the project will be to understand how the botany around the creek has altered over the years and where it is headed.
