Is there historical research to use as a "baseline" for a contemporary comparison? One might look at material published and unpublished from the Ecology Research Center as well as WCP Science Center archives.

Are there photographs from aircraft to give a sense of the sequence of development over time?

Since I have moved to Oxford there have been changes in terms of fewer fields and more trees in some places and fewer fields and more houses in others. Ohio generally has more forests than at the height of agriculture here and some of the fields have also been absorbed by urban sprawl. Would that be groovy?

This is a project that will take you to archives I should think.
