Hi,

A well written idea! The spread of awareness is always the first step. Have you considered what chemical parameters you'd like to measure yet?

Another idea that "jumped" into my mind was quantifying the type, amount (in numbers by type and mass) and origin of trash in the 4MC watershed. The trash angle would make for a good juxtaposition of beauty and ugliness.

Or, the chemical conditions above and below the Sewage treatment plant on 4MC night be interesting. But, if the Sewage Treatment Plant meets EPA treatment standards, then you should be able to drink the effluent!

The video/photography angle is very interesting. A look back in time might yield a "gold mine" of art and photography, but I don't know for sure.

So, a fine start,
Hays
