Oral History Componant

I think interviews and oral histories would be a rich componant of a larger project. Issues might include what the river means to me and how it has changed or not changed. There are also written histories, and historical documents that could further develop the historical theme. Consider also the historic DeWit cabin, and black covered bridge. I could imagine a historic/natural interpretive walking trail between the two.

What kinds of scientific data would help address the historic issues? You may want to ask scientific questions about how the river differs from some earlier period. Interesting germ of an idea. -Chris
