River play

I think the idea of a play on the Four Mile Creek is a good one. You would have to be sure to find a way to incorperate science in the play somehow. You could have a character in your play that is a environmental scientist that is studying the river. He could be giving factual information to the audience on the affect people have on the river's chemistry, physical structure, and biology; like a Bill Nye "Science Guy" character. I'm sure you could depict the history of culture and social relations through your characters about Four Mile Creek. You could have a Native American character giving a factual and historical perspective of the River and then you could have a settler and/or a modern day character giving his perspective on the river. Cool idea.
