We will in fact be looking at the Ohio river as part of our watershed and African American spirituals and their reference to rivers fit this in important ways. This particular group project focuses of Four Mile Creek and must include social, cultural, and scientific dimensions. I don't know whether Four Mile Creek is celibrated in African American spirituals or not. The local AME church, Smith historical collection and NAACP may be sources of information about this. I could see this as being a dimension of a larger project, but what you have here is underdeveloped. Also, make sure that you include your name and e-mail address in the future. -Chris
