Using Rivers as Continua

I think that the Harper article as well as the Damage Control article can give you a "what to do about these problems" extension on your project. The concept of the river being part of a whole appears to be part of the basis for both of your ideas. It would also be interesting to utilize theories that center around the connectedness of life and the Gaia principles as part of your research. That could provide you with a CC-like perspective.
