Progress Report

This topic submitted by Austin Kleon, Lauren Dean, Lia Silver, Laura Englehart on 4/4/03. Additions were last made on Friday, April 4, 2003. Section: Garrison/Green

Revisions:
- Due to time constraints, we will not be able to visit children in the Cincinnati schools like we had planned. Instead, we have a contact at Marshall Elementry School who we will talk to. She is a science teacher who teaches the children about creeks.
- We are still trying to contact McGuffey Foundation School, but the information we gathered from the PWEEP exercise (and from Marshall) seems to be sufficient if we continue having trouble contacting the school.

Observations Already Made:
- We interviewed 50 children during the PWEEP field trip to find out how often they play in creeks, whether they prefer playing in creeks or inside, etc. We also took pictures of the children interacting with the creek.
-We are planning to take our water samples during the Four Mile Field trip tommorow in areas where people are more likely to have contact with the creek.

Questions:
- We were wondering how to test the water samples for coliform???
