Note that developmental health will depend on many many factors. How can you disentangle stream impacts from all others?

You might want to look at how children interact with specific sites along 4-Mile. Is there a correlation between positive interactions and water quality, scenic beauty, flow characteristics?

The study will depend on interviews and impressions conveyed verbally or in drawings. What about having each child write a poem about the creek?

"Development" may be too broad and too complex. Aesthetic response, enjoyment, number of visits might be more accessible.

You might want to select only a few measures of water quality and take more frequent readings.

Interesting and inteerdisciplinary. I hope someone in the group has some background in child development.

Try broadening the net to include other FMC-size waterways or you might not get enough response from your informants who know some other creek.

How are you going to process your data? What tests will you run on quantitative data? What will you do with all that qualitative data (interviews, etc.)?

I don't see much on landscape history.

You haven't included anything about division of labor.

Have you considered what statistics you will use in your scientific analysis?

Have you included a data sheet? A specific timeline?
