2008 -TROPICAL ECOSYSTEMS OF COSTA RICA-2008

Geology 412/512: 5 Credit Hours

May 19-June 3, 2008

Purpose: To better understand the astonishing diversity of tropical ecosystems. Students in this course work together to investigate the ecology and cultures of Neotropical ecosystems: how they were formed and how they are changing.

We will explore in 2008:

Prerequisites: Two courses in the natural sciences and instructor permission. Limited scholarships are available. Course costs: tuition (5 hours credit) + approx. $1200 (includes airfare from the states).
