Joel,
I am really impressed with the thoroughness and promptness of your responses. I am glad to hear that the video segments are working well. The Virginia Hamilton segment and the inquiry accompanying it are my favorites. But I was worried that students might find some of the segments boring. Your idea to stop and discuss is a good one and might help.
