Response to Joel's Inquiry

Joel,
I usually dedicate about 5 to 10 minutes at the beginning of most class periods to the inquiry question. It can be time-consuming, but it is a good challenge to get the kids settled in. Many times they discuss possible answers and sometimes it sparks an interest to inquire further. You can find questions to use at the Channel 48 science store at Kenwood Mall. Questions are written in a calendar format. I also have a publication written by GROW. This is not the best question but here is an example: Why do many trees in the rainforest grwo so tall? I hope this helped you out!
