Inquire Ohio offers a threaded discussion on its Web site, but there are also other sites where you can join interesting and relevant discussions on teaching matters. Locate a newsgroup and a listserv that is of interest to you. Try it out for several days. What do you like or not like about each one?

Suggested Newsgroups

Note: When you send an e-mail message to the listserv of your choice, you should include the word "subscribe" in the subject line and the body of the message.

There are several ways to log on to Newsgroups: One can use Netscape (Version 4.5 works very well)! Choose newsgroups from the "Communicator" Header menu at the top of the Netscape Navigator. Select the Search Feature and Paste the newsgroup address into the empty search window. Then, "double click" on the newsgroup of your choice. Subscribe to the group and then you can read and submit submissions to each group.

Where and What do I post to the World Wide Web?

The input for assignments will be on three different pages. You can Input Your Technology Challenge Responses & Feedback, your Discussion Questions, and your Written Assignments and Feedback by clicking on the Links and following instructions.
